After a sleepless night, going to Bucharest, a flight and a long day, I woke up at 9 in the morning, being hungry and still tired. My first thought in the morning: “Am I really in Paris?” – “yes…” After choosing my outfit (to mention: I wore like 5 shirts at the same time, because I was already catching a cold. Oh, I’m still sick right now and coughing like a donkey) we went out to eat breakfast at a chic bistro (it looks a little bit like Negro. People from Targu Mures know what I’m talking about), on the same street with the hotel.
Our next stop was at a boulangerie, because I was the only one who decided to eat at that bistro. Yes, the Parisiens buy the famous baguette 😀 It’s delicious and different from what can be found here. I love macarons. They’re my favorites and my first thought when I found out that I was going to Paris was: “I have to buy macarons and magazines!”. And, fortunately, I ate a lot of macarons and bought two magazines, written in, of course, french. I bought 3-4 macarons from almost every boulangerie :))
I also find this pomegranate juice at Carrefour. It’s absolutely delicious! Too bad it can’t be found here.
Quartier Latin – this was our next stop. It’s full of restaurants, little shops and cafes. This is the place where you can buy cheaper souvenirs. For example, when I visited the Eiffel Tour, I found a really nice pen with 10 €. Here, in Quartier Latin, it was 3 €. I highly recommend you to visit this place!
While drinking a hot coffee, we decided to visit Notre-Dame de Paris. It’s the well-known Catholic cathedral and one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to!
I still have to tell you a few things, in the 4th part 😀 I wish you all a beautiful week!
Next post: ”Christmas Gifts” 😀
