Even though it’s raining right now in Targu Mures, my mind is still somewhere in Paris, getting ready for a white Christmas (it’s not snowing there, either). But dreaming is the only option right now, haha 😀 I’m finally in the mood for Christmas and I hope you are too!
I’ve always loved December and I’ve always loved giving and getting gifts. Well, the first gift, this month, was a short trip to Paris, which happens to be my favorite city or the city I would really like to live in. Another 2 surprises were made by my lovely boyfriend and my little brother. Luci came to my school just to give me chocolate, a cozy sweater and money, in case I was hungry 😀 He’s always so nice with me and makes sure I’m not cold, tired or sad. How can I not be happy with a guy like him?! And my brother bought me really great necklace with a little snowflake 😀 The last, but not least, surprise was from Bianca (Belle Jewels by Bianca Ana Maria), who sent me two pretty handmade bracelets. If you’re interested, the link is in between the brackets 😀
Aux Champs-Elysées, aux Champs-Elysées, au soleil, sous la pluie, à midi ou à minuit… Do you know the song, don’t you? 😀 Well, walking on this boulevard was magical! I was freezing, but it was worth it. If you ever think of going to Paris, do it! The atmosphere was so warm and cozy and there were a lot of sweets. Trust me. A lot! 😀 The markets, with holiday treats like mulled wine, gingerbread, sausages and specialties from various regions of France, are an essential part of Paris, during Christmas time. The market stretches from the Champs-Elysées roundabout (Metro Champs Elysées-Clémenceau) to the Place de la Concorde (Metro Concorde).
It’s a pity that all these pictures around the internet don’t reflect the real beauty of Paris.
Here are a few pictures:
Later, we went to the Eiffel Tour, because the tickets were booked for 8 p.m. It’s way bigger than it seems! Because it was pretty close from where we actually were, we thought that it’s would be a nice idea to avoid taking the subway. But it wasn’t so close! Anyway, I had the chance to take a walk on those pretty streets, full of stores!
The third part will be up soon, as well. I wish you all a great weekend, beautiful people 😀
