Hello, my loves!
Lately I’ve been traveling a lot and as much as I like it, and let’s be honest, at one point it gets tiring, especially if you’re traveling by car. My trip to Bucharest, which was the latest, was pretty nice. I’m a lover of big cities, maybe that’s why I love Bucharest with all my heart and soul 😀 Well, it’s my favorite city here, in Romania, and I highly recommend you to visit its great architecture.
In today’s post I’m going to write a few tips when it comes to getting back on track after going from one place to another and how to survive, let’s say, during those days. We all know that sleeping in a car is not the most comfortable way of resting nor the greatest place to eat your lunch, but seeing new places makes us forget about that sort of things, at least for a little while.
Eat on time
When I’m on the road, it happens to skip meals and then I end up eating junk food (totally not a great idea). In order to get back on track, you have to make sure that you’ll take some healthy food with you. Even if you won’t eat when you’ve planned, make sure that when you do, you’ll eat something healthy. Forget about fast food, especially when you’re traveling. Your body doesn’t need that food!
Never leave without water! Put reminders on your phone, in your agenda, anywhere, but make sure you don’t forget. There’s even an app for that, “Water your body”. It reminds you to drink water every day and tracks your water drinking habits. You’ll have to enter your current weight and this app will tell you how much water you need to drink.
As soon as you get home after a trip, sleep. Take a break and relax, because you really need that. Forget about what you have to do next and just sleep. Close the tv when you want to sleep and turn off all of the lights. You’ll get more energy to continue your work and you will definitely get a positive attitude.
These are my 3 important tips when it comes to getting back on track after being away. Down below are only a few pictures from Bucharest. Next time I’ll definitely take more pictures 😀
I wish you all a great week, girls!
