Lifestyle: Good morning, spring! Breaskfast Ideas

March 3, 2014

Hello, my loves!

Organizing your time is one of the best ideas! I’ve managed to write a few articles, to study and to go out in such short time. I’ve had an awesome week and the most important thing, I am so happy, for no particular reason. I don’t know about you, but I’ve waited for March to come. One thing I’m really exicted about is the fact that this week, on wednesday I’m going to Bucharest (yuhuuu) for a football game (Romania vs Argentina) even though I won’t get the chance to spend my time going shopping or so.

In my opinion, breakfast is the most important meal of the day (and sometimes the only one I get to eat). Don’t it happen to you to run out of ideas when it comes to choosing what to eat for breakfast? Well, I have some ideas, for the reason that, at one point or another, I was trying to find breakfast ideas for every single day. You can always choose from a variety of fruits/cereals/vegetables/yogurts.

Bagel & Cream Cheese With Tomato

1 small whole-grain bagel

low-fat cream cheese

1 tomato, slices

Toast bagel halves and spread with cream cheese. Top each side with a slice of tomato and season with salt and pepper.

Vanilla Spice French Toast with Apple

2 eggs

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

2 slices of whole-grain bread

1 apple, sliced

Whisk eggs, vanilla, and spices together. Dip bread into egg mixture. Saute bread on each side until brown  (about 3 minutes). Top with apple slices.

Cereals and blueberries

1 cup of cereal (whatever you prefer)

1 cup of low-fat milk

1 cup of blueberries

Add all of these together and enjoy it! This ideas is ideal if you’re busy or hurried in the morning.

Strawberry Parfaits

1 cup of strawberries

2 cups of low-fat yogurt

1 cup of musli

Cut the strawberries into pieces. In a bowl, add a few pieces, then add a little bit of musli and after that, 1 cup of yogurt. Do the same with the rest of the ingredients.

Salmon Sandwich

1 teaspoon of olive oil

smoked salmon

toasted bread

Smoked salmon on a toasted slice of bread is the perfect power breakfast. Pour 1 teaspoon of olive oil on the toasted bread, add  a slice of mozzarela, on of salmon and one of tomato.

1 tomato

olive oil

Layer alternating slices of tomatoes and mozzarella. Drizzle the salad with a little bit of olive oil and season with salt.

I hope that these ideas will help you when you run out of ideas. And don’t forget! Eat your breakfast, it’s the most important meal of the day! :)
