It seems like winter came later this year and right now the whole country’s full of snow. I can’t deny the fact that I enjoy it, but it might be one of the reasons I will be late for school or wherever I’m going. It often happens for me to be late. However I will have to fix this bad habit.
I’ve got a few tips for you, in order not to get late (it might work for you, I hope so)! Enjoy it and tell me if these help you get on time without having an overly crazy morning again!
1.Have a go-to make-up look!
This is one of my favorite tips to get ready when you’re running late! Get a make-up look together that you can do on the mornings you’re running late. You can simplify your usual make-up look, such as only wearing eyeliner, mascara, and concealer instead of your usual full face of makeup. If you want to go the more complex route, pick up a few makeup items that can do double-duty, such as a blush stick that can work as blush and lipstick, or a simple BB cream. Whichever route you choose to go, figure out what your simplified makeup routine is and go to that when you’re running late!
2. Keep an outfit set aside!
When you have some free time, put together an outfit that you absolutely love. Remember it, and set it aside. Don’t wear it just yet. When you’re running late, pull out your outfit that you’d set aside and you won’t have to waste the time it takes to pick out an outfit! Picking out an outfit can be one of the biggest time-suckers when you’re running late, so having an outfit ready is a great way to save time on a busy morning!
3. Know a few quick hairstyles!
Just like picking out an outfit, it’s important to have a hairstyle ready when you’re running late. When you don’t have much time, the last part of your routine you want to spend time on is flat-ironing or curling your hair. Learn a cute hairstyle that you can throw your hair into on your busy mornings. It will save you time!
4. Eat on the go!
Even if I highly recommend to sit while you’re eating, keep food in your house that you can grab on the go and eat during your commute. Whether you drive or walk, there must be some time you have throughout your commute to eat! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it’s definitely not something to skip out on if you’re running late. Instead of skipping breakfast, keep protein bars ready to eat during your commute!
5. Have everything ready!
This tip requires a little bit of planning. If you can integrate this into your nighttime routine, do it. Get everything you need in the morning ready the night before. Get your purse, backpack, or whatever you need together and ready the night before, every single night. Simply adding this to your nighttime routine will save you time in the morning, and you will be so happy you did this on the mornings you’re running late!
